Ben Miller
Owner & Operations Manager
Born and raised right here in Jackson, TN, Ben has been married to Rachel for 19 years. They have one son. Ben has worked in the Document Destruction industry since 2010 and has been the Owner & Operations Manager for Direct Shred since 2017. He enjoys spending time with his family and working on cars in his spare time. Ben is a deacon at Bethel Baptist Church, where he also sings in the choir and leads the bus ministry working with the inner-city children of Jackson.
Rachel Miller
Owner & Office Manager
Born in England to her English mother and United States Air Force father, Rachel has called West Tennessee home for over 15 years. Rachel has been married to Ben 19 years and they have a son, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. As the Owner of Direct Shred, she has served as the Office Manager of the company from the start in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, and crocheting. Her family attends Bethel Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir and works alongside her husband with inner city children of Jackson.
James Gray
Route Manager
A native of the Phoenix, AZ area, James moved to Jackson as a young adult and has been married to a Jackson native for 19 years. They have 3 children. James is the music minister and a deacon at Bethel Baptist Church, a church he has been a faithful member of for 20 years. James is a talented “jack-of-all-trades” who enjoys music, teaching higher maths, grilling, and restoring his eighty-year-old home.
Patrick Welch
Customer Sales & Service Representative
A native of West Tennessee, Patrick joined Direct Shred in 2023. He is a Veteran of the US Army, serving our country for 8 years with a deployment to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jackson. Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and son, or you can catch him on the mats training in jiu-jitsu.
